All Software is Cooked - I Called It - #173

Consoles and SaaS are just the beginning...

This past week was a whirlwind. I was up in Philadelphia supporting the inaugural PhillyTrend launch with top business leaders up north, then flew to NC for investor meetings, then Atlanta to speak at an AI Voice Conference, and then sat down with my client with ai leaders to discuss strategy into 2027… all the while, [console video games] and [SaaS software] finally saw the tombstone… and I called it 2 months ago: Adobe is Finally Cooked - My exact line: “Everything Adobe sells I can do with agents for free.”

My world is speeding at a velocity I can’t measure. ai + motorsports…

I spend 100% of my time on planes journaling and trying to position myself for the best investments and opportunities in these quick-moving-times…

Age of Abundance

As a techno-optimist, I see all this change as opportunity.

If you need something to get a job done, you just instantly ‘build’ it with your agents and get the work done…

Photoshop’s moat was decades of code. The PS5’s moat is a proprietary OS. Both are now fully decomposed, open, and ready for anyone to roll their own toolkit.

And! Everything is getting cheaper now…

3 considerations before I deplane…

  1. There is no more software moat. Sit on this if you’re inventing…

  2. Platforms and toll booths lock-in is over. [REACH and DISTRIBUTION] is your winning strategy now…

  3. NOTHING IS EXCLUSIVE ANYMORE. Walled gardens are gone.

Build.

Please.

You can.

ai is great for everything. It’s especially great at fixing big data. I posted this on LinkedIn twice and it kept getting removed… I’m just trying to help!
