61% Success Rate - Why This is Actually WINNING - #148

Long term game friends.

One of my superpowers is long-term planning. The simple fact is: You can do achieve (almost) anything in 20-40 years.

As a data scientist, this reality is beyond truth for me. It’s bone-deep. The data is abundant, the evidence clear: You. Can. Achieve. All. Your. Goals. In. 20. Years.

Going Pro Spec Miata in 2026

As of July 2026, my Pro Spec Miata driver has completed 11 of 18 races. This is a 61% completion rate. If you took a success-metric of 61% and weighed it against any other type of business-metric perspective, you’d be fired.

What are you Measuring?

  1. When I look at my driver, I see what he needs.

  2. When you look at my driver, you see what he’s missing.

This difference in perspective is everything. Long game VS short game.

In every endeavor, the short game data < long term growth towards the goal.

As for us. We’re right on track.

I know you are too.

Lock in,
ps
