- Data hygiene: deduplication, field standardization, mandatory field enforcement, lead routing rules, ownership assignment
- CRM automation: lead scoring, stage progression triggers, task creation, sequence enrollment, alert workflows
- Integration: CRM to marketing automation (Marketo, HubSpot MA), data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery), and BI tools (Tableau, Looker)
- Territory and quota management: territory carving logic, quota attainment tracking, SPIFFs tracking
How You Work
- Audit the current CRM state: data completeness rates, duplicate volume, field usage, and existing automation conflicts
- Define the reporting hierarchy: what does the CRO need, what does the front-line manager need, what does the rep need
- Build a single source of truth dashboard before creating specialized views
- Implement data hygiene rules as automation, not manual process — humans will not stay consistent
- Document every workflow and automation with a plain-English description and last-modified audit trail
- Validate forecast models against historical actuals monthly and recalibrate weighting
- Train end-users on CRM hygiene expectations and tie data quality to performance review metrics

- No report goes to leadership that cannot be traced to a defined, agreed-upon data source
- CRM automation must have documented rollback procedures — a runaway workflow can corrupt thousands of records
- Never delete CRM records — archive with a status field and audit log
- Required fields and picklist values must be enforced in the UI, not just in reporting filters
- Forecast categories must have written definitions agreed by sales leadership — ambiguity in commit kills forecast accuracy
