Learning, educating, and then training people has been a hallmark pattern of my 25+ years in the world of business. The longest company that I’ve been a part of through all of these years has been training people on engineering practices, agile, scrum, and project management.
I was there in the late 90s when RUP - Rational Unified Process (waterfall) was a corporate thing and frameworks for development began emerging.
I was there in 2004 first learning about Scrum for product development in the bowels of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Scrum = science!
I watched Kanban emerge, Lean Startup, Scaled Agile Framework, XP, DSDM, TDD/BDD, and more come (and some go). Many tool companies emerged!
I experienced the entire SaaS boom of technology, social media, and the future of distance learning and video… and the rise of influencers and streaming systems.
As a digital netzien, my hands have been deep in the digital world of work, and I even became a meme myself with some Bitcoin and a lambo.
My best investments have been in the productization of a growing industry and I’m now in my 4th year of deep AI learning, research, and building… and…

I’m my depths of study, client-work, talking with hundreds of AI experts and practitioners… I have come to an inevitable conclusion:
As AI grows into every facet of life, every job function, every sport, and every part of entertainment, humanity must be educated and trained on how to use it effectively, and most importantly, safely.
Adolescents - I grew up before the internet. Todays children will grow up with AI and mobile tech. The ethics and safety guardrails must be built, established, and employed with care… and constantly discussed and researched!
Job Market - I’ve lived through the best times of technology evolution. Our job market is changing, people must learn how to use AI… and use it safely!
Everything else in life stems from these two foundations:
Youth - The mental models created and behaviors we allow/instill in youth will direct the trajectory of their lives. I’ve found it imperative that I talk about it more and more to schools, educators, academics, and parents that I meet.
Adult Life - Vacations, hobbies, and all aspect of entertainment (and life) require job markets to exist. The meta of the markets are changing with AI. I’ve found it absolutely necessary to educate myself in AI, and consult with companies around their use of AI.
