How to use this view

• 1Read the treemap first. Tile size = dollars, tile color = month-over-month direction. A large tile turning red is where a budget conversation needs to start today — it outranks a small red tile even if the percentage is scarier.
• 2Let the forecast cone drive the budget call. The dashed gold band is the EOM projection range; if its upper edge crosses the red budget line, you act now, not at month-end. Right now it lands $18k under.
• 3Triage the Anomaly Detective before the ledgers. It already attributed the S3 spike to a team, a deploy, and an annualized dollar impact — a one-click ticket beats an afternoon of Cost Explorer spelunking.
• 4Work savings top-down by confidence. The list is ranked by dollars and evidence strength — high-confidence rightsizing with p95 headroom retained is a safer first apply than a speculative tier change.
• 5Watch unit economics, not just totals. Spend can rise while cost/customer falls — that's healthy scaling. The regression flag fires when the unit cost reverses, which is the real FinOps alarm.
• 6For your own org: what share of your bill is unallocated? Anything you can't tag to a team is spend nobody is accountable for — that's usually the fastest win.
